Not that I would now anything about this, but this bloke did all the hard work for us and compiled a list of lessons he had learnt while surfing researching Porn sites. Very funny and a wonderful insight in an industry that was largely responsible for e-commerce and the internet boom (after the dot com bust).

Here is a summary write up of his list:

1) You must be 18 to enter: Treat your visitors special.

2) Porn is a powerful keyword: The old adage “sex sells”.

3) Porn Is Also a Powerful Domain Name: Make sure you pick a domain name that is simple and easy to remember.

4) Niches Are Nice: Niche blogs are the good blogs.

5) You’ve Got to Be Prolific If You Want to Be Terrific: Post frequency is vital

6) Previews Are Seductive: Make sure your title and first paragraph kicks ass.

7) Tours Are Titillating: Create an areas where new visitors can get to know you quickly.

8) There’s Lots of Love in Links: Share the link love

9) It’s All About Instant Gratification: Make it easy to navigate your blog with good placements of RSS and links.

10) It’s Not A Good Place for Amateurs: Anyone can start a blog, even you.

HAHAHAHA THESE IS SO FUNNY !!

Commenting Rules: I love reading your comments as it allows me to interact and learn from you. Being critical is fine, giving constructive criticism, even better. However if you are rude, I will delete your comment. Repeat, and I will blacklist you. The world is full of negativity, so I don't need anymore on my blog, which I consider my online home. Would you encourage Neanderthal behavior in your home? Neither would I.

Finally, please use your personal name or initials and not your business name. By doing the latter, it comes off like spam, and that’s an auto delete. Thank you and I hope you enjoy being part of the conversation!
