Check out this product that won the Kokuyo Design award. Can you believe it, its a post-it pad!

Very clever idea, where the page layers are made of thin transparent material with printed coils made to look similar to that of an onion. So when you peel off a slice it looks like you would have an onion slice stuck on your wall or monitor.

I like the fact that the product has a life on the stack as a pad, and also when it is peeled off individually.

Creative. But is it good to write on, even with a ball point pen?
It’s somehow reinventing the wheel but still nice if it’s not too expensive. Otherwise I’ll stick to the yellow square paper.

Hey Aen,

You are so right, from the look of the materials is could be one of those paper textures that only a ball point pen would work on. Felt tip or ink would just run!

I’ll tell you what mail that product out to me and I’ll test drive it to see how it works out.

Ok sure, it’s a nifty looking little sticky pad. I’m sure it won’t be long before the sliced tomato and sliced pickle sticky pads make an appearance as well. Soon we’ll be writing quick notes about luncheon dates ON fast food so we can at least feast our eyes on all the delicious looking burger parts stuck all over our cubicles to aid us in getting through those tough times (1 or 2 whole hours a day) when we aren’t eating something. Maybe these pads should come with the last page preprinted “MAKE DR. APPT. - Get Cholesterol Checked!” (Naturally this only applies when marketing the pad to us Americans.) 8^)

Hi Joe,
I’ll do my best if I can get my hands on some!

Hi Outpatient,
I can imagine! Also you could stack all the sheets up and make a burger?

Thanks for stopping by guys and please keep in touch!

Wow. I wouldn’t get one imported or anything, but I’d sign up for a contest with that as a prize, or maybe buy one if they go on sale here. My only problem would be that the sheets appear to get very small toward the end.

too clever. so clever that it is irrelevant and impractical.
the pattern would make it hard to see the writing on it.
the yellow sticky notes get my vote(!!!).

i wouldn’t publicise it. some one could steal the idea and ptent it before you could. in any case, this idea is not in any danger of being stolen(!)
