About the Design Translator
The Design Translator (DT) is an award winning, multi-disciplinary industrial design leader that specializes in strategic design and product realization programs that drive successful brands and businesses.

During the day, he heads an Industrial Design department at a consumer electronics company. At night, he blogs, changes his son’s diaper, dabbles in design-entrepreneurship, practices investing, and swings from building to building righting wrongs. He currently lurks in Singapore, Sydney and occasionally China.

About the Design Sojourn Blog
Design Sojourn catalogs DT’s journey in design. A journey that, should you decide to follow, will teach you how to do good design and create clever products.

Therefore as your guide DT will attempt to translate what he sees, knows and learns about Industrial Design, Design Strategies and Design Management into a language everyone can understand. Hints, tips and suggestions that young designers can find insightful and experienced designers find refreshing.

Finally you will get to step in the DT’s shoes as he goes through his own trials and tribulations in fulfilling his dream of being a design entrepreneur.
