Design Sojourn

I have been tinkering around with The Design Sojourn blog during the Easter break and have got some bugs sorted out, as well as added some cool widgets.

1) Thanks to Aen, we’ve fixed the comment bubble bug, making it so that every comment is wrapped in a full bubble. Before the bottom part of the light grey bubble graphic was missing.

2) Again with the help of Aen, we got my “Links to Clever People” up and running again. He’s a swell bloke, and if any of you need a custom blog template design, do check him out and say I sent you.

3) I’ve added a post popularity widget that ranks all my posts based of number of visits, page views, comments and trackbacks. The information is compiled into a Top 10 list that is located in my “Article Collection” page. Do pop over there and have a browse to see if you have missed any of the old design nuggets that other visitors liked. (Do ignore that post on “Japanese Sex Dolls” though, I’m not sure how on earth that got there…)

4) Finally I’ve added yet another blogging community tool, a Twitter widget. Its basically a simple widget that allows people to keep track on what you are doing at any one time. As one or my fellow designer bloggers, jt from aialone.com aptly puts it’s yet another complete waste of time, and I like to add, it’s another password or website to remember or login to. However Twitter is SUCH a complete waste of time that I just have try it out and am curious to see how the experience turns out.
