What happen to the Industrial Designer here? Didn’t any one do a study in ergonomics or user interface?

Apparently it is a:

…a new gadget, from electronics manufacturer Toshiba, that enables the wearer to experience a full 360-degree view on a 40 centimeter dome-shaped screen.

Personally, I would just get out and look around. Are people so desperate to get away from the real world with this object?

    Wow that is incredible…..I would like to have at least two of them at home…to play with my friends…..hehehe)))))) hm or maybe just one and run against wall – it is safe)))

    Realy can understand how something like this can born in someones head nowadays….and after pass thru commitee in company.

    Do someone know how havy it is?

    What happened to my TV?…

    What was the designers smoking, my god? It seems that this is a device that gives the user a 360 view or something, I’m not sure what. Oh and its design by Toshiba, some say a pretty good consumer brand.
    It’s like, lets design this 36…

    hahah, I have no idea how heavy, but it seems the person wearing it has a hard time lifting up her head!

    Yes its so spacy like you are wearing a astronaut’s helmet on earth!
