Following our recent discussion on copyright and ownership of work, do have a look at this supposed really cool redesign of the apple site.

Unfortunately it got slammed by Warpspire as a fake trying to make it, probably basing on the fact it made it on Digg’s front page. Its a pretty good read with lots of insights on how to brand manage graphic design work. His comments are a bit harsh, but I read it as “tounge in cheek” and a pretty good laugh.

Even then, if he had done a little more research, he would have seen it was a design test for a job application, and Desudesu has done some great work on his own steam.

Anyways, as with the joys of the internet both Warpspire and Desudesu have found some kind of fame.

Its hard to know what is true and what is fake nowadays and I think this post comes in a good time.

There are many imitators out there and I think with proper guidelines these things can be tackled. Well I dont even know if my wife is original.

Commenting Rules: I love reading your comments as it allows me to interact and learn from you. Being critical is fine, giving constructive criticism, even better. However if you are rude, I will delete your comment. Repeat, and I will blacklist you. The world is full of negativity, so I don't need anymore on my blog, which I consider my online home. Would you encourage Neanderthal behavior in your home? Neither would I.

Finally, please use your personal name or initials and not your business name. By doing the latter, it comes off like spam, and that’s an auto delete. Thank you and I hope you enjoy being part of the conversation!
