I have recently signed up for The Superstruct Game, which is the world’s first massively multiplayer forecasting game. Join up to help forecast the future in 2019, and solve the problems we may face. Here is one of them:

OUTLAW PLANET
In 2019, the mobile internet and sensor networks we rely on to hold our societies together are being hacked, griefed, and gamed.

What do you think your future environment will be?

Oh before I forget, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival friends and I hope you enjoyed your Mooncakes!

Great to see you’re getting involved already. I’ve just set up my twitter and Tumblr accounts. I’m hesitant to start a blog when what I really want to do is generate concept art, but a blog might be the best way to put the work into the “gamestream”. Or, maybe I’ll set aside six weeks on my blog. Not like I’ve had time or energy to keep it well updated.

just back from Hong Kong with a suitcase full of mooncakes myself! i have to say that as an online game designer in 2019, I’m actively working against the urge to unplug and go back to analogue forms of entertainment. I WANT people playing online — especially the people who are socially isolated due to the quarantine situation. If we can keep them at home playing the game, we can prevent the spread of ReDS. But maybe there is a way to work together… is there a way to combine the relative safety and pleasures of off-the-grid analogue fun and the addictive pleasures of online gaming?

Commenting Rules: I love reading your comments as it allows me to interact and learn from you. Being critical is fine, giving constructive criticism, even better. However if you are rude, I will delete your comment. Repeat, and I will blacklist you. The world is full of negativity, so I don't need anymore on my blog, which I consider my online home. Would you encourage Neanderthal behavior in your home? Neither would I.

Finally, please use your personal name or initials and not your business name. By doing the latter, it comes off like spam, and that’s an auto delete. Thank you and I hope you enjoy being part of the conversation!
